thanks Ben.

didn't want to spread myself too thinly between the forums and the blog. not forgetting the Pitch Engine article i'm supposed to be writing about the process and experience.

before DateNight, i saw the pitching process like i was an over-trained and under-fed car salesman. in the week after, i see it now more like looking for a creative partner - someone who can advance your project because they believe in it, rather than someone who's not interested because they can't on-sell it.

This post really does belong at the NZWG forum. It's just excellent to get real feedback like this about an event. It is always scary to explain your ideas to someone who actually does have the power to get a crew together and make them... and yet, just like bungy jumping, it's an amazing feeling of achivement afterwards.
