Fasitua Amosa (left) is a graduate of the Unitec School of Performing and Screen Arts in 2002. His credits include The Insiders Guide to Happiness (2003), Sione’s Wedding (2005) and The Tattooist (2006). He is currently with the dangerously hysterical Kila Kokonut Krew. Fasitua’s parents are originally from Lauli’i, Samoa and Elisefou, Tuvalu.
Stacey Leilua (centre) graduated from the Unitec School of Performing and Screen Arts. She has appeared in two Auckland Theatre Company productions, Play 2:03 and The Songmaker’s Chair, and is a founding member of the Kila Kokonut Krew. Stacey has served time on Shortland Street and appeared in several short films including O le Mata I le Nifo and My Teacher. Stacey’s grandparents are orginally from Fusi and Papasatua, Samoa.
Fred McFall (right) is a former chef and current fire-fighter. Fred is a late starter to acting which he describes as “a way of getting out of my comfort zone and doing something different.” Born and raised in South Auckland, Fred drew on his experience as the eldest of five siblings for the role of Daniel. Fred’s parents are originally from Vaimea and Siumu, Samoa.
Richard Thompson (left) trained at the London Centre for Theatre Studies 1998-1999, returning to New Zealand in 2000. Since then he has worked steadily – and some might say eclectically – in theatre, television and film. His credits include MoonTV (2005-2008), Shortland Street (2006), and Unkreative Artists‘ Memories of Tomorrow (2005) and Five (2007).
Kai’a Lene (right) has worked in theatre and film all over the world, most recently in Sydney, London and Copenhagen. Wherever he goes, he is proud to identify himself as a Pacific Islander.
