I like to keep <b>The Amphibian<\/b>, <b>The Kaimanawa Pony<\/b> (<b>Goddess<\/b> permitting) and <b>The Kitten<\/b>** in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fEs8j4_hrUY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reserve<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/dfmamea.com\/goodbyemyfeleni\/2013-season\/\">Goodbye My Feleni<\/a>\u00a0production also has its order of battle:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 13px;\">the inimitable\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hekamacreative.co.nz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jenni Heka<\/a> will be producing <a href=\"http:\/\/dfmamea.com\/2012\/04\/06\/goodbye-my-feleni-the-producer\/\">again<\/a><\/span><span style=\"line-height: 13px;\">;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>the co-directors are <b>Shadon Meredith &amp; Amelia Reid-Meredith<\/b> who masterminded\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/dfmamea.com\/2012\/09\/13\/hypothesis-one\/\">Hypothesis One<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>last year&#8217;s cast of\u00a0<strong>Samson Chan-Boon<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Andy Sani<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Leki Jackson Bourke<\/strong> have returned, and are joined by\u00a0<strong>Taofia Pelesasa<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>with support from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz\/EN\/newseventsculture\/communityfundingsupport\/grantsfunding\/arts\/Pages\/artsalive.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Auckland Council Arts Alive funding<\/a>; and<\/li>\n<li>with staging area at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basementtheatre.co.nz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Basement<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Rehearsals commence next week. \u00a0I&#8217;ve gone cold turkey on <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Left_4_Dead\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Left 4 Dead II<\/a> in order to finish the last draft of the script. \u00a0And our faithful and loyal avatar, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/chocolatestigmata\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chocolate Stigmata<\/a>, has gotten itself a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/chocstigmata\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">twitter account<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At\u00a0<em>Goodbye My Feleni<\/em> HQ this phase of operation is not called &#8216;getting one&#8217;s ducks in a row&#8217; &#8211; Jenni insists that we \u00a0call it\u00a0<em>getting ready to stomp on your shit<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>* Pi &#8211; Samoan for honeybee (pronounced &#8216;pee&#8217;), rather than the Greek letter and irrational number.<br \/>\n** Yes, an update on the expanded menagerie will follow, complete with pictures for your desktop, laptop and phone wallpapers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We don&#8217;t have stocktakes or inspection days at Fortress Mamea where the menagerie present themselves front and centre with clean nails and shiny coats.
