We accepted, of course. \u00a0What this means is we get a two-day workshop with a public reading on <strong>Thursday 25 July 2013, 6:30pm<\/strong> at <b>ATC, Mount Eden War Memorial Hall, Lower Ground Floor, 487 Dominion Road, Mount Eden<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Shadon &amp; Amelia<\/b> will be directing, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hekamacreative.co.nz\" target=\"_blank\">Jenni<\/a> is producing, and yours truly will be on hand to eat the actors&#8217; morning and afternoon teas. \u00a0Speaking of which (cue shameless name-dropping), assisting us with this stage of\u00a0<i>Goodbye My Feleni<\/i>&#8216;s development are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>actors <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0500955\/\" target=\"_blank\">Shimpal Lelisi<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/bananaboat.org.nz\/2012\/08\/26\/suli-moas-a-hearts-path\/\" target=\"_blank\">Suli Moa<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theatreview.org.nz\/reviews\/review.php?id=5124\" target=\"_blank\">Max Palamo<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm3452033\/\" target=\"_blank\">Matariki Whatarau<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>and our workshop dramaturg will be <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hone_Kouka\" target=\"_blank\">Hone Kouka<\/a> (whose own 28th (Maori) Battalion play, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.qtheatre.co.nz\/tu-hone-kouka\" target=\"_blank\">Tu<\/a>, opens this Friday at Q Theatre).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last month, Auckland Theatre Company&#8216;s Literary Manager, Philippa Campbell, invited the Goodbye My Feleni crew to join\u00a0ATC&#8217;s 2013 Making Scenes\u00a0programme.
