{"id":3992,"date":"2014-05-25T23:00:06","date_gmt":"2014-05-25T11:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dfmamea.com\/?p=3992"},"modified":"2017-02-01T09:47:39","modified_gmt":"2017-01-31T20:47:39","slug":"mucking-with-the-g","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dfmamea.com\/blog\/mucking-with-the-g\/","title":{"rendered":"Mucking with the G"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This came to mind after a recent rodent run-in:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gAM2Q7Sqlbk\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s that time of the year when some of the forest folk seek shelter in Fortress Mamea from the inclement weather. When scratching noises emanated from the kitchen, <b>The Kitten<\/b> was duly dispatched. She promptly returned to her currently favoured chair (a Sanderson linen-covered armchair) and resumed her nap.<\/p>\n<p><b>The Dog<\/b> and I were then dispatched \u2014 <b>The Goddess<\/b> exhorting us to <i>Kill it kill it kill it<\/i> \u2014 and we chased the rodent from the kitchen, through the Big Hall, around the Banquet Room and finally back to the kitchen. As The Dog and I caught our breath, the invader made <i>Yah loser<\/i> noises from deep within a cupboard.<\/p>\n<p><i>Right then,<\/i> I breathed.
