(See also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0295264\/\" target=\"_blank\">Josh Friedman<\/a>&#8216;s experience, Being A Play in <a href=\"http:\/\/hucksblog.blogspot.com\/2005\/08\/koepp-and-i-play-in-two-parts.html\" target=\"_blank\">Two<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/hucksblog.blogspot.com\/2005\/08\/koepp-and-i-part-ii.html\" target=\"_blank\">Parts<\/a>.) For myself, I swear by the excellent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nzwg.org.nz\/\" target=\"_blank\">New Zealand Writers Guild<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nzwg.org.nz\/contract_download_area.php\" target=\"_blank\">model contracts<\/a>, though none of them mention residuals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0041864\/\" target=\"_blank\">John August<\/a> has an interesting <a href=\"http:\/\/johnaugust.com\/archives\/2007\/publicity-101\" target=\"_blank\">post<\/a> on publicity. I admit to being Kiwi-bloke-ish in my self-promotion: essentially a &#8220;build it and they will come&#8221; approach. (This <a href=\"http:\/\/if.dfmamea.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">blog<\/a> and the attendant <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dfmamea.com\/main.html\" target=\"_blank\">dfmamea.com<\/a> site was a tentative step in the self-promotion direction. It&#8217;s provided a fantastic avenue for procrasturbation.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Whilst clearing up my massive RSS backlog (and inadvertently deleting a mass of &#8216;Important&#8217;-flagged ones), I found a wealth of left-field ideas and approaches to film distribution from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0002752\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tim Clague<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"http:\/\/projectorfilms.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Projector Films blog<\/a>. The ideas are a bit <a href=\"http:\/\/projectorfilms.blogspot.com\/2007\/02\/quick-thought.html\" target=\"_blank\">scary<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/projectorfilms.blogspot.com\/2007\/02\/new-idea-for-third-world.html\" target=\"_blank\">newfangled<\/a> for a conventional and blissful ignoramus like myself, but they&#8217;re exciting and exhilarating, and any day now, I&#8217;ll understand it all.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And finally, courtesy of <a href=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/~r\/teevee\/mainfeed\/~3\/97155541\/194532.html\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teevee.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">TeeVee<\/a>, there&#8217;s the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brilliantbutcancelled.com\/shows\/\" target=\"_blank\">Brilliant but Cancelled site<\/a> which seems to have some neat feeds on a range of shows that didn&#8217;t survive transmission on American t.v. It doesn&#8217;t have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0096720\/\" target=\"_blank\">UnSub<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0092360\/\" target=\"_blank\">Game, Set and Match<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Now_and_Again\" target=\"_blank\">Now and Again<\/a>, but.
